Safety Warning
DIY auto repair can cause serious injury, fire, or vehicle damage. These guides are for informational purposes only. Always follow OEM torque specs, wear PPE, and consult a certified mechanic if you are unsure. You are solely responsible for your safety.
Calibration Update
Calibration update is used to install a new calibration and strategy into a module. The updates are usually issued to fix a concern in the module software and would normally be addressed by another technical service bulletin (TSB). This method has been used by the PCM for several years. Other modules will be adopting this strategy as well.
