Front Suspension: Description

1997 Ford Probe Base, StandardSECTION Description

MacPherson strut front suspension consists of single wishbone control arms with ball joints, cast steering knuckles and a stabilizer bar. Steering knuckle is bolted to shock absorber.

Lower ball joints are pressed into wide stance control arms, which are supported by rubber bushings at chassis subframe. Front hub and one-piece roller bearing are mounted inside steering knuckle.
