Master Switch Test

1997 Ford Probe Base, StandardSECTION Master Switch Test

With ignition off, remove master switch. Leave electrical connector connected. With DVOM connected to ground, backprobe and measure voltage at indicated switch terminals with switch in specified positions. See MASTER SWITCH TESTING TABLE. If voltage is as specified, go to appropriate procedure under TROUBLE SHOOTINGΒ  , if applicable. If voltage is not as specified, replace master switch.
