  2. Disconnect driver's door module 16-pin connector C455. Measure voltage between ground and driver's door module 16-pin connector C455 terminal No. 2 (Dark Green/Purple wire). See Figure . If battery voltage is not present, go to next step. If battery voltage is present, repair open in Dark Green/Purple wire between driver's door module 4-pin connector C457 and splice. See WIRING DIAGRAMΒ  . Retest system.
  3. Remove fuse No. 41 (10-amp) from instrument panel fuse block. Check condition of fuse. If fuse is blown, go to next step. If fuse is okay, repair open in Dark Green/Purple wire between instrument panel fuse block and driver's door module, then retest system.
  4. Disconnect driver's door module 22-pin connector C456. Remove fuse No. 41 (10-amp) from instrument panel fuse block. Measure resistance between ground and driver's door module 4-pin connector C457 terminal No. 3 (Dark Green/Purple wire). If resistance is less than 10 k/ohms, go to next step. If resistance is greater than 10 k/ohms, go to step 10).
  5. Disconnect driver's door lock switch connector. Measure resistance between ground and driver's door module 4-pin connector C457 terminal No. 3 (Dark Green/Purple wire). If resistance is less than 10 k/ohms, go to next step. If resistance is greater than 10 k/ohms, replace driver's door lock switch, then retest system.
  6. Disconnect passenger's door lock switch connector. Measure resistance between ground and driver's door module 4-pin connector C457 terminal No. 3 (Dark Green/Purple wire). If resistance is less than 10 k/ohms, go to next step. If resistance is greater than 10 k/ohms, replace passenger's door lock switch, then retest system.
  7. Disconnect keypad connector. See KEYPADΒ  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Measure resistance between ground and driver's door module 4-pin connector C457 terminal No. 3 (Dark Green/Purple wire). If resistance is less than 10 k/ohms, go to next step. If resistance is greater than 10 k/ohms, replace keypad, then retest system.
  8. Disconnect driver's memory seat switch connector. Measure resistance between ground and driver's door module 4-pin connector C457 terminal No. 3 (Dark Green/Purple wire). If resistance is less than 10 k/ohms, go to next step. If resistance is greater than 10 k/ohms, replace driver's seat memory switch, then retest system.
  9. Disconnect power mirror adjusting switch connector. Measure resistance between ground and driver's door module 4-pin connector C457 terminal No. 3 (Dark Green/Purple wire). If resistance is less than 10 k/ohms, repair short to ground in Dark Green/Purple wire, then retest system. If resistance is greater than 10 k/ohms, power mirror adjusting switch, then retest system.
  10. Measure resistance between ground and driver's door module 22-pin connector C456 terminal No. 1 (Pink/Black wire). If resistance is less than 10 k/ohms, go to next step. If resistance is greater than 10 k/ohms, go to step 13).
  11. Disconnect driver's door lock motor connector. Measure resistance between ground and driver's door module 22-pin connector C456 terminal No. 1 (Pink/Black wire). If resistance is less than 10 k/ohms, go to next step. If resistance is greater than 10 k/ohms, replace driver's door lock motor, then retest system.
  12. Disconnect passenger's door lock motor connector. Measure resistance between ground and driver's door module 22-pin connector C456 terminal No. 1 (Pink/Black wire). If resistance is less than 10 k/ohms, repair short to ground in Pink/Black wire, then retest system. If resistance is greater than 10 k/ohms, replace passenger's door lock motor, then retest system.
  13. Measure resistance between ground and driver's door module 22-pin connector C456 terminal No. 6 (Pink/Yellow wire). Measure resistance between ground and driver's door module 22-pin connector C456 terminal No. 17 (Pink/Light Green wire). If resistance is greater than 10 k/ohms, go to next step. If resistance is less than 10 k/ohms, repair short to ground in Pink/Yellow or Pink/Light Green wire, then retest system.
  14. Measure resistance between ground and driver's door module 16-pin connector C455 terminals as follows:
    • Terminal No. 14 (Light Blue/Yellow wire).
    • Terminal No. 6 (Light Green/Red wire).
    • Terminal No. 13 (Yellow/Black wire).
    • Terminal No. 5 (Yellow wire).
    • Terminal No. 12 (Red wire).

If each resistance measurement is greater than 10 k/ohms, go to next step. If any resistance measurement is less than 10 k/ohms, check suspect circuit(s) for short to ground, then retest system.

  15. Measure resistance between ground and driver's door module 22-pin connector C456 terminals as follows:
    • Terminal No. 18 (Brown/Orange wire).
    • Terminal No. 19 (Brown/Light Green wire).
    • Terminal No. 7 (Black/Orange wire).
    • Terminal No. 20 (Purple/Orange wire).
    • Terminal No. 21 (Dark Blue/Orange wire).
    • Terminal No. 9 (Red/Orange wire).
    • Terminal No. 8 (Dark Green/Orange wire).
    • Terminal No. 10 (Yellow/Black wire).

If each resistance measurement is greater than 10 k/ohms, replace fuse No. 41 (10-amp) and driver's door module, then retest system. If any resistance measurement is less than 10 k/ohms, check suspect circuit(s) for short to ground, then retest system.

  16. Disconnect driver's door module 16-pin connector C455. Measure voltage between ground and driver's door module 16-pin connector C455 terminal No. 2 (Dark Green/Purple wire). If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, repair open in Dark Green/Purple, then retest system.
  17. Disconnect driver's door module 22-pin connector C456. Measure resistance between ground and driver's door module 22-pin connector C456 terminal No. 16 (Black wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, repair open in Black wire, then retest system.
  18. Measure resistance between ground and driver's door module 16-pin connector C455 terminal No. 8 (Black/Light Blue wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK article to diagnose network concern. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, repair open in Black/Light Blue wire, then retest system.
