Illuminated Entry Does Not Work From Remote Transmitter

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect roof console connector. Disconnect flasher module connector from interior fuse panel. Disconnect REM connector. Measure resistance between roof console connector Green wire and REM connector Green wire. Resistance should be less than 5 ohms. Measure resistance between roof console connector Green wire and flasher module connector Green/Red wire. Resistance should be less than 5 ohms.
  2. Measure resistance between ground and REM connector Green wire. Resistance should be more than 10 k/ohms. If resistances are as specified, temporarily substitute known-good REM and retest system. If resistances are not as specified, repair wire in question. See WIRING DIAGRAM  .
