Ca-4 Abs Output Check

1991 Ford Probe GL, StandardSECTION Ca-4 Abs Output Check

Disconnect only Black wire from hydraulic unit. Start engine. Set voltmeter to 20V scale. Measure voltage between ABS control unit Blue/Orange wire and ground when the following ABS control unit terminals are grounded with jumper wire.

ABS OUTPUT CHECK

Terminal No. Volts
2K (Blue/Black wire) & 2I (Green/Red wire) Greater than 10
2I (Green/Red wire) Only Less than 2
2K (Blue/Black wire) Only Greater than 10
Neither terminal Greater than 10

If output is correct, go to CA-5 PUMP OPERATION CHECKΒ  . If output is not correct, replace ABS control unit.
