No Voltage Change In Crank Angle Sensor Signal

No Voltage Change In No. 1 Cylinder TDC Sensor Signal

No Voltage Change Of Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) Signal

Open Or Short In Barometric Pressure Sensor

Open Or Short In Injection Circuit

Open Or Short In Fuel Pump Drive Circuit

Faulty ECU

⁽¹⁾	When the CHECK ENGINE light flashes on and off continuously without pausing, this will be read as a zero indicating a normal condition.

⁽²⁾	2.0L Turbo engine only.

⁽³⁾	When CHECK ENGINE light illuminates steadily without flashing, this indicates a faulty ECU.

When to See a Mechanic

Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:

• You smell fuel, burning insulation, or see smoke.

• Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.

• The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.

• You are missing required tools, torque specs, or safe lifting equipment.

• You are not confident in the next step or safety outcome.
