Fuel Pump Relay
1990 Eagle Premier ESSECTION Fuel Pump Relay
- Fuel pump relay is located in relay box, near battery. See Fig 1 . With relay in de-energized position, relay should have continuity between relay terminals No. 3 and 1. See Fig 2 . Measure resistance between relay terminals No. 5 and 2.
- Ohmmeter should read 70-80 ohms for resistor relays and 81-91 ohms for diode relays. Replace relay if not within specification. Not all relays have battery voltage connected to terminal No. 1. Some relays have battery voltage connected to terminals No. 4 or No. 3.
