Steering System: Column: Installation
2023 Dodge and Ram ProMaster 2500SECTION Installation
- Position the steering column to the instrument panel.
- Install the steering column bolts (1) and tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ
.
- Install the steering column nuts (1) and tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ .
- Secure the wiring harness routing clip (2).
- Install the steering column shaft to the steering gear.
- Install the steering column pinch bolt (1) and tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ .
- Install the clockspring. Refer to CLOCKSPRING, INSTALLATION .
- Install the upper steering column shroud. Refer to SHROUD, STEERING COLUMN, UPPER, INSTALLATIONΒ .
- Install the lower steering column shroud. Refer to SHROUD, STEERING COLUMN, UPPER, INSTALLATIONΒ .
- Install the steering wheel. Refer to WHEEL, STEERING, INSTALLATIONΒ .
