Module, Fuel Pump: Installation
2023 Dodge and Ram ProMaster 2500SECTION Installation
- Install new fuel pump module O-ring to fuel tank.CAUTION:
The fuel pump module must be installed correctly to prevent damage to the fuel pump module.
- Line up the fuel pump module mounting tab to the arrow on the fuel tank.
- Install fuel pump module lock ring.
- Install fuel pump module lock ring tool and turn clockwise until the fuel pump module lock ring (1) is seated and locked to fuel tank.
(special tool #9340, SAE Fuel Pump Lock Ring Wrench)
- Connect the line quick connects to the fuel pump module.
- Connect electrical connector (4) to fuel pump module.
- Install the fuel pump access cover (1). Tighten the cover screws securely.
- Install the carpet cover (1).
- Install the drivers seat frame cover (1). Tighten the screws securely (2).
