- Ensure ignition is off. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). DLC is located on bottom of instrument panel, to left of brake pedal. See Figure. Turn ignition on.
- Using scan tool, select BODY, THEFT ALARM, VTSS, MISCELLANEOUS, then CONFIGURE MODULE. Follow scan tool prompts. When configuration (programming) is complete, turn ignition off and disconnect scan tool. Program RKE transmitters into RKE module memory. See REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY (RKE) TRANSMITTER .
