Window Switch
2000 Dodge and Ram Intrepid R/TSECTION Window Switch
- Remove window switch. See WINDOW SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Using ohmmeter, check continuity of switch. See DRIVER'S WINDOW SWITCH CONTINUITY table or PASSENGER'S & REAR WINDOW SWITCH CONTINUITY table. See Fig 1 or Fig 2 . If switch continuity is not as specified, replace switch.
- Vehicle is equipped with an auto down feature. Driver's window can be lowered without having to hold switch in down position. Auto down feature can be activated by pressing down switch past first detent.
- To test auto down feature, reinstall and operate switch in normal up and down mode. If window operates properly in normal mode, but does not operate in auto down mode, replace switch.
