Fuel Injector: Installation
2004 Chrysler Crossfire StandardSECTION Installation
- Install the fuel injectors (4) to the fuel rail (2) by gently pushing the fuel injector into the fuel rail (2). Install the retaining clips.
- Install the fuel rail (2) with the fuel injectors (4) by moving the fuel rail (2) side to side and pushing downward towards the intake manifold.
- Install the fuel rail retaining bolts. Tighten to 9 N.m (80 in. lbs.).
- Install the fuel injector harness (6) to the fuel injectors (4) then install the fuel injector electrical connector retaining clips (5).
- Connect the fuel feed line (3). Tighten to 38 N.m (28 ft. lbs.).
- Install the fuel rail trim panel (1) and screw.
- Install the air cleaner housing. See 3.2L V6 article.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
