2002 Chrysler Intrepid BaseFACTORY OEM SERVICE PROCEDURE
Installation - 2.7L
- Install generator.
- Install pivot bolt, leave loose.
- Connect the generator field circuit plug.
- Install the B+ terminal nut and wire and tighten to 9.8 N.m (85 +/- 15 in. lbs.).
- Install the generator drive belt. Refer to the GENERATOR/POWER STEERING BELT INSTALLATION .
- Adjusting T-bolt and tighten belt.
- Remove jackstand from under radiator and install lower radiator crossmember support.
- Reposition transmission cooler and tighten fasteners.
- Install lower plastic splash shield.
- Lower vehicle.
- Connect negative battery cable.
Tighten all fasteners to the proper torque. Refer to SPECIFICATIONS - TORQUE .
