2000 Chrysler Intrepid BaseFACTORY OEM SERVICE PROCEDURE

Engine Block Heater: Description

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Dodge Intrepid, 2004 Chrysler Intrepid, 2004 Chrysler Concorde, and 2004 Chrysler 300M. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The engine block heater is mounted in the cylinder block, near the right rear corner (Pig. 4). The block heater is a dry cylinder type design and is powered by 110 volt AC. The power cord must be secured in its retainer clips, and not positioned so it could contact linkages or exhaust manifolds and become damaged.Β
