Programming a New Control Module
To program a new control module, perform the following procedure:
- Install the special tool: EL-49642 SPS Programming Support Tool
- Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Access SPS and follow the on-screen instructions for the control module: K47 Rear Differential Clutch Control Module
- Perform the SPS function: Prepare Control Module for Removal
- Perform the SPS function: Programming
- Perform the SPS function: Setup
- Clear DTCs after programming is complete. Clearing powertrain DTCs will set the Inspection/Maintenance (I/M) system status indicators to No.
- Perform the configuration/reset function: Rear Differential Clutch Control Module Calibration
