Preliminary Procedures

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (LS7 or LS9) , Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (LS3) .
  2. Remove the intake manifold sight shield. Refer to Upper Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement (LS9) , Upper Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement (w/o LS9) .

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  2. Disconnect the ignition cable.
