Preliminary Procedure 
Partially drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) , Cooling System Draining and Filling (LFX, Static Fill) , Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSA, LS3, L99 Static Fill) .
1 Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure

  1. Reposition the sensor heat shield.
  2. Disconnect the ECT sensor harness connector.

Tighten 
20 N.m (35 lb in)
