Parking Assist Control Module: Notes

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The parking assist control module provides an 8V reference and a low reference to the four object alarm sensors. The parking assist control module receives individual signals from each of the four sensors and determines the location and distance of an object based on these inputs. When an object is detected, the parking assist control module will send a data message via CAN-Bus to the radio requesting an audible alert.
