Removal Procedure
- Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement in Engine Mechanical - 3.8L.
- Disconnect the boost source and signal hoses from the boost control solenoid (2).
- Disconnect the boost control solenoid electrical connector.
- Remove the boost control solenoid nut.
- Remove the boost control solenoid (2).
