Code Enable Criteria
Conditions for running DTC:
- DTCs P0101, P0102, P0103, P0107, P0108, P0117, P0118, P0121, P0122, P0123, P0125, P0336, P1114, P1115, P1121, P1122 or P1336 is not set.
- Engine speed is 1000-5000 RPM.
- Throttle angle is greater than 15 percent.
- Engine load is greater than 40 percent.
- Engine coolant temperature is greater than 153°F (60°C).
- Maximum spark retard is less than 15 degrees.
- System voltage is greater than 9 volts.
- Engine run time is greater than 30 seconds.
Conditions for setting DTC:
- PCM detects a malfunction in the integrated knock sensor diagnostic circuitry which will not allow proper diagnosis of the knock sensor circuit.
- Conditions exist for at least one second.

Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:
- • You smell fuel, burning insulation, or see smoke.
- • Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
- • The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.
- • You are missing required tools, torque specs, or safe lifting equipment.
- • You are not confident in the next step or safety outcome.
