Sensing and Diagnostic Module (SDM) provides a record of DTC's, stored according to type. SDM performs diagnostic monitoring of SIR system electrical components. When a malfunction occurs, SDM records DTC's in memory and turns on AIR BAG warning light. Current and history DTC's are stored in SDM.
