Safety Warning
DIY auto repair can cause serious injury, fire, or vehicle damage. These guides are for informational purposes only. Always follow OEM torque specs, wear PPE, and consult a certified mechanic if you are unsure. You are solely responsible for your safety.
Refrigeration Oil
Only new, pure, moisture-free REFRIGERATION OIL should be used in the air conditioning system. Refrigeration oil is highly refined and dehydrated (moisture content less than 10 parts per million) to a point well below the contaminating factor. KEEP THE REFRIGERATION OIL CONTAINER TIGHTLY CLOSED WHEN NOT IN USE. If container left uncapped, even for a short time, moisture will be absorbed by the oil and then introduced into the air conditioning system when the oil is added to the compressor.
