Power Mirror Memory Inoperative In One Direction
- If outside mirror system check was performed, go to next step. If outside mirror system check was not performed, go to OUTSIDE MIRROR SYSTEM CHECK under SYSTEM TESTS.
- Check for open or short in position sensor wiring between appropriate door control module and appropriate outside power mirror:
- Left Horizontal
circuit No. 786 (Light Blue/Black wire). - Left Vertical
circuit No. 784 (Dark Green/Black wire). - Right Horizontal
circuit No. 786 (Light Blue/Black wire). - Right Vertical
circuit No. 784 (Dark Green/Black wire).
If circuit is okay, go to next step. If faulty circuit is found, go to step 4 .
- Left Horizontal
- Replace suspect mirror. See POWER MIRRORS - SEVILLE article. After repairs, recheck system operation.
- Repair open or short in faulty wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . After repairs, recheck system operation.
