Rear Integration Module (Rim) Programming
1997 Cadillac Seville SLSSECTION Rear Integration Module (Rim) Programming
NOTE:
RIM may be referred to as BCM.
Prior to replacing RIM, note vehicle personalization features. To set or change features:
- Place gear selector in PARK. Turn ignition on. Press Driver Information Center (DIC) ON button. DIC displays a status message.
- Press INFO UP button until FEATURE PROGRAMMING OFF message is displayed. Press ON button. Personalization mode is activated and FEATURE PROGRAMMING ON is displayed.
- Scroll through features using INFO DOWN button. Pressing ON/OFF button toggles through available settings. Pressing INFO DOWN button sends feature setting to appropriate system and scrolls to next feature.
- When features have been chosen, scroll to FEATURE PROGRAMMING ON display. Press INFO RESET button. Personalization mode is deactivated and FEATURE PROGRAMMING OFF message is displayed.
