- Ignition ON / Vehicle in Service Mode.
- Verify the scan tool Brake Transmission Shift Interlock Solenoid Actuator Command parameter changes from Inactive to Active when the brake pedal is applied.
- If the Brake Transmission Shift Interlock Solenoid Actuator Command does not changeÂ
Refer to Stop Lamps Malfunction .
- Go to next step: If the Brake Transmission Shift Interlock Solenoid Actuator Command changesÂ
- If the Brake Transmission Shift Interlock Solenoid Actuator Command does not changeÂ
- Verify the S3 Transmission Shift Lever moves out of the PARK position when the brake pedal is applied.
- If the S3 Transmission Shift Lever does not move out of the PARK positionÂ
Refer to Circuit/System Testing.
- Go to next step: If the S3 Transmission Shift Lever does move out of the PARK positionÂ
Go to next step: All OK.
