Receiver Programming

  1. On sedan, move trim located in left side of trunk to gain access to programming connector. See Fig 1 . On wagon, remove left rear body pillar finish panel to access programming connector. See Fig 2 . On all models, connect a jumper wire between programming connector terminals. Door locks and rear trunk/tailgate lock will cycle. This indicates receiver is in program mode.
  2. Press any button once on transmitter. Door locks and trunk/tailgate lock will cycle once to ensure transmitter code is programmed. Receiver is now programmed to transmitter. Previously programmed codes are erased.
  3. If programming a receiver to match a second transmitter, do not disconnect program connector jumper wire. Press any button once on second transmitter. Door locks and trunk/tailgate lock will cycle once to ensure transmitter code is programmed.
  4. Disconnect programming connector jumper wire. System will not operate unless ground connection jumper wire is removed. Ensure transmitter is operating properly. On sedan, reposition trunk trim assembly. On wagon, reposition body pillar finish panel.
