Adaption Values

1992 BMW 850i AutomaticSECTION Adaption Values

Adaption values are forgotten (lost) when voltage supply to DME is interrupted. This can lead to problems in starting and idling. Depending on how far adaption values have deviated from the basic values, some time will be required until the adaption values are relearned. For this reason, idle operation or test runs in order to observe change in adaption values are of little use.
