Injection Control
The supplied intake air is routed through the air mass meter free of backpressure and pulses. Here the air flow is registered independently of the air temperature, air humidity and altitude. The DME control unit then calculates the correct injection timing on the basis of the engine speed, air flow rate, engine temperature and intake air temperature. The fuel-air mixture is changed by way of the opening duration of the injector valves.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:
