Scheduled Maintenance Service: Notes

1992 BMW 735iLSECTION Notes

An on-board computer determines service intervals based on the style and amount of driving. The operator is signaled by a series of LEDs showing the proximity of service needs. Five Green LEDs will progressively go out showing the approaching need of service. When the last Green light goes out an Amber light will illuminate indicating service is due immediately. A Red LED will illuminate if the maintenance interval has been exceeded.

The maintenance services are performed in sequence: Engine Oil Service, Inspection I, Engine Oil Service, Inspection II. An Annual Service is to be performed with, or in addition to, all other services when due.
