Coding Control Module
1999 Audi A8 QuattroSECTION Coding Control Module
- Initiate central locking system On Board Diagnostic (OBD). See INITIATING CENTRAL LOCKING SYSTEM ON BOARD DIAGNOSTIC (OBD) under RETRIEVING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES.
- Press buttons 0 and 7 to select "Code Control Module" function 07 and press Q button to confirm input.
- Enter 5-digit code. Fill empty positions with "0" (example: 16140).
- Press Q button to confirm input.
- The code module identification with coding value just entered is displays. Press right arrow button.NOTE: In the function "Read Measuring Value Block, Display Group 004" the coding for the central locking system can be checked. See READ MEASURING VALUE BLOCK (SCAN TOOL FUNCTION 08) under PROGRAMMING.
