  • Brake system indicator (amber) on
  • VSA indicator on
Fail Safe Action
  • Stop CAN communication (Dependent upon the conditions)
  • Degrade ABS performance
  • Stop engine drag torque control function
  • Stop TCS function (Fade out)
  • Stop VSA function
  • Stop agile handling assist function
  • Stop brake assist function
  • Stop hill start assist function
  • Stop automatic brake hold function (Fade out)
  • Stop hydraulic brake booster function
  • Stop driving support system's brake function
Possible Cause
  • Open, Short to ground, Short to power, or Short to another line between the VSA modulator-control unit and other control units (F-CAN C_H, F-CAN C_L lines)
  • Internal failure of other unit on F-CAN C
  • VSA modulator-control unit internal failure
