Remote Registration and Reprogramming for Keyless Access System and Immobilizer System
Keyless Access System
Registration by the HDS is necessary when:
- Any of the remotes (A) are replaced.
- All of the remotes (A) are replaced.
- A new remote (A) is added.
- New remotes (A) are added.
- The keyless access control unit (B) is replaced.
- The ignition switch control unit (C) is replaced.
- The imoes unit (D) is replaced.
- Deleting the registration of a lost remote(s).
- The PCM is replaced.
NOTE: The keyless access control unit can store up to six remotes.

Immobilizer System
Registration by the HDS is necessary when:
- A built-in key (A) is added or replaced.
- The immobilizer control unit-receiver (B) is replaced.
- The imoes unit (C) is replaced.
- The PCM is replaced.
NOTE: The immobilizer control unit-receiver can store up to six built-in keys.

Registration
1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II) with the built-in key.
2. Connect the HDS to the data link connector.
3. Select KEYLESS ACCESS or IMMOBILIZER (depending on the part replaced)* from the SYSTEM SELECT menu.
- : If registering the imoes unit, select IMMOBILIZER from the SYSTEM SELECT menu. (This is not necessary to register as a keyless access composed part.)
4. Enter the TEST MODE menu, then select the suitable menu from the HDS indications.
Keyless Access System
Registration by the HDS is necessary when:
- Any of the remotes (A) are replaced.
- All of the remotes (A) are replaced.
- A new remote (A) is added.
- New remotes (A) are added.
- The keyless access control unit (B) is replaced.
- The ignition switch control unit (C) is replaced.
- The imoes unit (D) is replaced.
- Deleting the registration of a lost remote(s).
- The PCM is replaced.
NOTE: The keyless access control unit can store up to six remotes.
Immobilizer System
Registration by the HDS is necessary when:
- A built-in key (A) is added or replaced.
- The immobilizer control unit-receiver (B) is replaced.
- The imoes unit (C) is replaced.
- The PCM is replaced.
NOTE: The immobilizer control unit-receiver can store up to six built-in keys.
Registration
1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II) with the built-in key.
2. Connect the HDS to the data link connector.
3. Select KEYLESS ACCESS or IMMOBILIZER (depending on the part replaced)* from the SYSTEM SELECT menu.
- : If registering the imoes unit, select IMMOBILIZER from the SYSTEM SELECT menu. (This is not necessary to register as a keyless access composed part.)
4. Enter the TEST MODE menu, then select the suitable menu from the HDS indications.
