CKP Sensor Replacement
2008 Acura MDXSECTION CKP Sensor Replacement
- Move the auto-tensioner to remove tension from the drive belt, then remove the belt (see DRIVE BELT INSPECTION ).
- Remove the crankshaft pulley (see CRANKSHAFT PULLEY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ).
- Remove the upper and lower front covers from the engine (see TIMING BELT INSPECTION ).
- Remove the CKP sensor (A) from the oil pump.
- Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
- Do the CKP pattern clear/CKP pattern learn procedure (see CRANK (CKP) PATTERN CLEAR/CRANK (CKP) PATTERN LEARN ).
