SERVICE INFORMATION

EDITOR'S NOTE:  This article revises "Use ServiceExpress if ISIS Isn't Available," posted in February 2014.

If for some reason SIS isn't available, don't panic! Remember that ServiceExpress is your backup!

ServiceExpress is our web-based system for delivering service-related info to the aftermarket. Independent repair shops that subscribe to the website get the same repair info as Acura dealers.

If you're an Acura dealer, go to https://techinfo.honda.com  , and log on with your user name and password. Your service manager should have that info. If not, click on the Contact Us  link in the lower right-hand corner to contact our ServiceExpress customer support team. Aftermarket SIS subscribers should also contact our ServiceExpress customer support team for assistance.

If you're new to ServiceExpress or can't find what you're looking for, check out the User's Guide  listed under USA RESOURCES.  You'll also find some helpful guidance in the Tech2Tech  video "Use ServiceExpress if ISIS Goes Down."

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • Dealers may have up to five simultaneous users. If a sixth user logs on, the first one is automatically disconnected.
  • Info provided through ServiceExpress is confidential, copyright protected, and may not be shared with anyone outside your dealership or posted on any website.

When to See a Mechanic

Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:

  • You smell fuel, burning insulation, or see smoke.
  • Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
  • The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.
  • You are missing required tools, torque specs, or safe lifting equipment.
  • You are not confident in the next step or safety outcome.
