Driver's Power Window Motor

2004 Acura 3.5RLSECTION Driver's Power Window Motor
  1. Remove driver's door panel. See DOOR PANELΒ  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect power window motor connector. See Fig 1 or Fig 2 . Using a fused jumper wire, connect battery voltage to power window motor connector terminal No. 2 (Red/Yellow or Red wire). Using another jumper wire, ground power window motor connector terminal No. 1 (Red/Blue or Green wire). Power window motor should go up smoothly. When polarity is reversed, power window motor should go down smoothly. If power window motor does not operate as specified in both directions, replace power window motor. If power window motor operates smoothly in both directions, test driver's power window motor pulser. Go to next step.
  2. Connect analog ohmmeter between power window motor 4-pin connector terminals No. 3 (Blue wire) and No. 4 (Black wire). Using fused jumper wires, connect battery voltage to 4-pin connector terminal No. 1 (Red/Blue or Green wire) and ground to terminal No. 2 (Red/Yellow or Red wire). If ohmmeter needle does not pulsate back and forth while motor operates, replace motor.
