When you boot up the navigation system, does a Honda logo pop up and are some of the system's features not working? The wrong navigation DVD version might be installed. If version 3.10, 3.20, or 3.30 was installed in a '05 or '06 system, the navigation unit's model code changes to 20H. This can happen even if the DVD version was installed and then the right one was put back in.
To fix this problem, remove the DVD from the navigation unit. Check its label color and version against the chart in S/B 05-018, Navigation System Information and DVD Information and Inspection, and replace the DVD with the right version if needed. Unplug 8-pin connector C from the back of the unit, wait at least 30 minutes, and plug it back in. The navigation unit will load the right model code for the vehicle. Refer to the applicable ETM or ISIS for the exact location of that connector. Here's where it's at on an '06 TL:
