Brush Holder Test

2003 Acura 3.2CL BaseSECTION Brush Holder Test
  1. Using an ohmmeter, check continuity between positive and negative brush holders (brackets). See Fig 1 . Continuity should not exist. If continuity exists, brush holder assembly is shorted and must be replaced.
  2. Measure brush length. If it is not within the service limit,replace the brush holder assembly. See Fig 2 .
