Tilt/Extend-Retract Position Sensor Test

1998 Acura 3.5RL Special EditionSECTION Tilt/Extend-Retract Position Sensor Test

Remove steering column covers. See STEERING COLUMN COVERSΒ  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect tilt/extend-retract position sensor 4-pin connector. See Figure. Using an ohmmeter, verify resistance between terminals is as specified in TILT/EXTEND-RETRACT POSITION SENSOR TESTΒ  table. If sensor fails any test, replace faulty sensor.
